1966 Chevy Nova Pro Steet
€31,00 EUR
AMT 1/25
The 1966 Chevrolet Nova (officially part of the Chevy II lineup) marked a major milestone for the model line. This year introduced a complete, sharp-edged redesign that transformed the car into a legendary muscle car contender.
Key Highlights of the 1966 Model
- The Redesign: Chevrolet dropped the rounded look of the first generation for a bold, boxy, and aggressive body style. The two-door hardtop models featured a sleek, semi-fastback roofline.
- The Nova SS: The Super Sport (SS) was the top-tier performance and appearance package, available only as a two-door hardtop coupe. It featured distinct SS badging, a center console, bucket seats, and upgraded trim.
- The Legendary L79 Engine: This was the year the Nova became a true giant-killer. Buyers could option the L79 327 cubic-inch (5.4L) V8 engine, which pumped out a massive 350 horsepower. Combined with the car's lightweight body, the L79 Nova could easily outrun much larger muscle cars of the era.
