Featuring on the \u003cbr\u003eJagdtiger was a long barreled 12.8cm gun which showed great offensive \u003cbr\u003ecapabilities. While based on the King Tiger's chassis, the newly \u003cbr\u003edesigned Jagdtiger was approximately 30cm longer. Along with its new \u003cbr\u003edesign, the larger fixed fighting compartment was given a 250mm thick \u003cbr\u003efront defensive armament which was unique to this vehicle. First \u003cbr\u003eappearing at the Ardennes offensive in December 1944, the Jagdtiger \u003cbr\u003emostly fought against Allied forces in Western Germany from January \u003cbr\u003e1945.
