The all-weather\/night fighter role was filled by the \u003ca rel=\"mw:WikiLink\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gloster_Javelin\" title=\"Gloster Javelin\" id=\"mwGg\"\u003eGloster Javelin\u003c\/a\u003e. Successively improved variants of the type were produced, adopting increasingly more capable engine models and expanding its fuel capacity among other modifications being implemented. Hunters were also used by two RAF display teams: the \u003ca rel=\"mw:WikiLink\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Black_Arrows\" title=\"Black Arrows\" id=\"mwGw\"\u003eBlack Arrows\u003c\/a\u003e, who on one occasion looped a record-breaking 22 Hunters in formation, and later the \u003ca rel=\"mw:WikiLink\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/No._92_Squadron_RAF#Cold_War\" title=\"No. 92 Squadron RAF\" id=\"mwHA\"\u003eBlue Diamonds\u003c\/a\u003e, who flew 16 aircraft. The Hunter was also widely exported, serving with a total of 21 overseas air forces\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHunter FGA.9Single-seat ground-attack fighter version for the RAF.
