Some 676 Wespes were manufactured \u003cbr\u003ebetween February 1943 and July 1944, and they saw extensive use in both \u003cbr\u003einfantry support and anti-tank roles, from the Eastern Front across to \u003cbr\u003eNormandy and Italy in the West.
