Built by \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alvis_Cars\" class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Alvis Cars\"\u003eAlvis Cars\u003c\/a\u003e between 1960 and 1971, these vehicles served with the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/British_Army\" title=\"British Army\"\u003eBritish Army\u003c\/a\u003e from 1963 until 1993.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cdl\u003e\u003cdt\u003eFV622\u003c\/dt\u003e\u003c\/dl\u003e\u003cp\u003eAll MK2 had the chassis number STAL 11\/, and ran from STALL 11\/1 to STAL 11\/956.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eStalwart Mk 2 load carrier. This had a driver's and passenger's \u003cbr\u003eseat, although a third seat could be fitted to the right of the driver \u003cbr\u003eas a field modification. All Mk 2 have an internal hydraulic winch, \u003cbr\u003ewhich only operates through the front and is mounted below the driver. \u003cbr\u003eThe winch type is a Morris multi-layer drum, driven by a P.T.O. mounted \u003cbr\u003ehydraulic pump. The winch pull is 5400;kg.
