May be diluted with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints.

Used for painting upper surfaces (and undersurfaces of wing
folding parts) of US Navy & USMC carrier-based aircraft finished in
the Blue Grey/Light Grey scheme from mid-October 1941 until January
1943. This scheme was also ordered for all US Navy shore-based aircraft
in February 1942.
