The glazed nose was replaced by\u003cbr\u003e a solid nose containing four 20 mm (.79 in) \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hispano-Suiza_HS.404\" title=\"Hispano-Suiza HS.404\"\u003eHispano cannon\u003c\/a\u003e and two .50 in \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/M2_Browning_machine_gun\" class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"M2 Browning machine gun\"\u003eM2 Browning machine guns\u003c\/a\u003e.\u003cbr\u003e After the first batch of 250, the less-accurate cannon were replaced by\u003cbr\u003e more machine guns. After 750 aircraft had been built, a power-driven \u003cbr\u003egun turret fitted with two .50 in machine guns was fitted, with the \u003cbr\u003efuselage 6 inches (15 cm) wider as a result, and the ventral tunnel gun \u003cbr\u003echanged from a .30 in to another .50 in Browning. The powerplants were \u003cbr\u003etwo 1,600 hp (1,200 kW) R-2600-23. Many A-20Gs were delivered to the Soviet Union.
