The JSF Joint Strike Fighter program
was launched to develop a new all-weather, fifth-generation multirole
fighter capable of effectively replacing ground-attack aircraft used by
the United States and NATO countries. The project led to the single-seat
Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II. Equipped with extraordinary
technology, it features a trapezoidal wing design with stealth
characteristics. Designed to perform air-superiority, close air support,
and ground-attack missions, its airframe can be adapted to various
configurations. The F-35A operates from conventional runways, the F-35B
was designed for vertical take-off and landing, and the F-35C is ideal
for use on aircraft carriers equipped with catapults.
Its
exceptional operational flexibility, offensive payload capacity,
onboard technology, and the project’s high degree of innovation have
supported the current and future adoption of the F-35A among the flight
units of numerous air forces.
Here are some of the kit’s main features: 100% new moulds with parts to
build the “Beast Mode” configuration; photo-etched details for maximum
realism; great attention to detail in the cockpit, external pylons,
