The Fokker F-27 immediately achieved a good commercial \u003cbr\u003esuccess in civil and military uses and it was even produced under \u003cbr\u003elicence in the United States. Thanks to its two 2,250 Hp Rolls-Royce \u003cbr\u003eturboprop engines the Fokker was able to reach the max speed of 460 \u003cbr\u003eKm\/h. Since its start of production it was adopted by a lot of airlines \u003cbr\u003ethat  found in it the best solution for short-haul routes. The adoption \u003cbr\u003eof two turboprop engines, compared to traditional piston engines, \u003cbr\u003ereduced vibrations and provided an improved comfort on board.
